Applications are now live for a four-week online Policy Leadership Development Programme starting later this month!

After the great success of our two PLDP cohorts in 2025 and 2026, we are delighted to announce an all new online cohort, aimed primarily at young people in Northern Ireland who have moved away for education or work, or for those who cannot attend in-person sessions. You can find the application form here.

Over the course of four weeks, participants will hear from current policy leaders, develop their skills and understanding of Northern Ireland politics and policy, and learn more about the biggest policy challenges facing our society. There will be plenty of opportunities for discussion, debate, and development.

Applications will close at 1pm on Wednesday 11 November so make sure to get yours in now!

We will also be running another in-person PLDP cohort in early 2027. More information on that will be released in due course.

If you have moved away from NI but want to know more about how this place works and how to make a positive impact in your community, then the online PLDP is for you!

When?

Tuesday evenings from 17 November until 8 December. Sessions will be from 6-8pm.

Where?

Each session will be on Microsoft Teams.

Who?

18-25-year-olds, primarily aimed at those who have moved away for education or work, or those who are unable to attend in-person sessions in Belfast.

How can I apply?

You can apply by filling out the form here. Applications close at 1pm on Wednesday 11 November.

The PLDP is a fantastic opportunity not to be missed! If you have any questions, please contact tom@pivotalppf.org.
